Myself Sweta Sinha, Senior Research Fellow at the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad, India. I have recently given my PhD pre-submission seminar and going to submit my thesis in October 2013.
I have a keen interest in to the topic of air pollution and its associated problems. I have a strong desire to work towards Aerobiology. I believe that my doctoral training, research experience and exhaustive literature study has equipped me with essential skills to understand obscure problems in this field and design appropriate experiments to address them. Apart from conducting aerobiological analysis and experiments, I have participated in experimental planning, recording and analysis of data, evaluating results, preparing scientific document and/or reports and training junior graduate students and project assistants. In addition, I was responsible for maintaining automatic weather monitoring system including SODAR in my lab which allowed me to understand the importance of meterological parameters and its relation with Air pollution. During these years, I gained first hand experience in asking difficult questions and approaches to address them. It provided me strong confidence in conducting meaningful research independently. My primary research findings led to
